Eurasian sector awarded with letter of gratitude by the Eurasian Economic Commission

The Center for Comprehensive European and International Studies of the Higher School of Economics (CCEIS HSE) was awarded with official gratitude by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). The official letter of gratitude was presented personally by the Chairman of the Commission Tigran Sargsyan to the dean of the Faculty of World Economy and World Politics of the Higher School of Economics Sergei Karaganov on December 11, 2017 at the inauguration of the III EAEU Model.

The text reads: “The Eurasian Economic Commission expresses its sincere gratitude to the Center for Comprehensive European and International Studies of the Higher School of Economics for carrying out scientific research on integration studies, educational and scientific-practical events, information exchange between the HSE and the Eurasian Economic Commission, for its contribution to the development of Eurasian economic integration. We hope that in the future cooperation between the Center for Comprehensive European and International Studies of the Higher School of Economics and the Eurasian Economic Commission will remain mutually beneficial and fruitful!”

In the autumn of 2017 the Eurasian sector of the Center for Comprehensive European and International Studies of the Higher School of Economics was established. It serves as a multifunctional unit that offers educational programs, implements research, carries out information exchange and conducts scientific and practical activities in the field of Eurasian economic integration. In fact, the Eurasian sector of the of the Higher School of Economics is the first ever academic chair in the post-Soviet space dedicated to Eurasian economic integration.
