Last October, the delegation of the Center for Eurasian Studies (CES) visited the Grozny State Oil Technical University. The delegation included CES Director Jurij Kofner, CES guest researchers Victoria Zaitseva and Eduard Kryuchkov, head of the political direction of the Center for the Study of Contemporary Turkey Yuri Mavashev.
At this meeting, the rector of the Grozny oil professor Hassan Taymakhanov discussed issues of mutually beneficial cooperation with the guests. In particular, the issues of training young specialists for international markets, internship and practical training of students of the State Technical University in federal executive bodies, as well as in large Russian companies were discussed in detail.
As a result, the Center for Eurasian Studies helped to conduct a selection of graduate students to be sent to the Ministry of the Russian Federation for North Caucasus Affairs. After the interviews, the fourth-year student of the Institute of Economics and Law of the State University of Azerbaijan, Dzhabrail Gamaev and the 4th year student of the Institute of Economics and Finance of the State University Ibrahim Timurkaev were selected. For the internship, these students were sent to the Department of Strategic Development of the North Caucasus Federal District of the Ministry of the Russian Federation for North Caucasus Affairs.
